SAI100
As an offering of love and gratitude to Lord Sai for His 100th Birthday, the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization is commencing the SAI 100 Program, which implements 12 initiatives to serve humanity, intensify our spiritual journey, and serve everyone and Nature. Please see below details of each initiative along with the Region 5 lead. Please reach out if you'd like to be part of any of the initiatives.
Initiative 1: Serving the Community & Environment Expansion of Community Adoption or Support Programs
In conjunction with Swami’s 95th Birthday, 157 communities were adopted by the SSSIO by 2020. Now, we will intensify our efforts to adopt more communities with additional service programs for SAI 100.

Initiative 2: Mental Well-Being Workshops
The World Health Organization and medical experts around the world recognize that mental health issues are escalating every year, affecting nearly a billion people. We will intensify our efforts to improve the mental well-being of all by organizing engaging and interactive workshops, meditation, counseling sessions, and health education.

Initiative 3 : Medical Camps
Medical camps will be held to bring essential and much-needed medical services in the community. These camps will provide preventive healthcare, health education, and comprehensive healthcare, including screening, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.

Initiative 4: Tree Planting
The increasing threat of climate change and pollution has created multiple challenges for humanity, for which the mass planting of trees provides many benefits. The SSSIO has already planted over 250,000 trees worldwide, including an unprecedented number in Africa and many other countries. We will continue to make further progress under the SAI 100 initiative.

Initiative 5 & 6: Organizational and communication Excellence- internal & external
The focus is on streamlining SSSIO Organizational processes and systems, establishing best practices to better serve communities and themselves, ultimately accruing the benefits of individual transformation. A seamless communication system will be established to ensure that messages sent by the SSSIO are received by everyone for more effective communication.

Initiative 7 : Active Roles & Participation of Young Adults in Sai Centers
Young Adults (YAs) are our future leaders, and it is vital to increase the engagement between adults and YAs in Sai Centers. We will empower the 30-40-year-old devotees who have graduated from the SSSILP (Sri Sathya Sai International Leadership Program) to step up and mentor the younger ones.

Initiative 8: Expansion of the SSE Program
The children of SSE are the next generation of leadership and members of the Sai community. More and more children will be engaged in SSE by Sai Centers and Groups worldwide to solidify children’s spiritual foundation to help them blossom into youth and adulthood.

Initiative 9: Spreading His Message - International Media Academy & Digital Media Associates
This program will generate innovative and inspiring media content to disseminate the message, works, and love of Lord Sai worldwide.

Initiative 10 : Public Meetings
Public meetings will be organized across the world to bring greater awareness of Swami’s teachings and their application to daily living. These meetings can be in the format of a public seminar on general topics such as stress management, healthy living, secrets of a happy life, etc. The meetings will be open to all members of the community.

Initiative 11 & 12: Tuition Program for Students & expansion of SSEHV programs in the community
Tuition/Tutoring can greatly alter the destinies of students who need help. Our goal is to adopt at least 100 schools worldwide to improve the academic performance and character development of students through human values. Swami has emphasized the practice of human values by individuals, communities, and nations for the peace and happiness of all. The long-standing SSEHV program will intensifiy its approach to reach more professionals, societies, and communities across the world with the help of the 27 Institutes of Sathya Sai Education.
