sai 100 initiatives

The SAI 100 Initiatives at Sathya Sai Center of Chicago West are currently focused on several activities, including the Bread Truck initiative and a monthly Sathsang that encompasses Morning Suprabhatam, Meditation, 108 Divine Names, an afternoon session of Rudram, Namakam, Chamakam, and Bhajans. The center also hosts monthly guest speakers who share their personal experiences and connection to Swami, along with a weekly Study Circle (excluding the third week of the month). Community service initiatives include participating in FMSC twice a year, providing Christmas Gifts to young children in Chicago Public Schools, and various Youth Activities (YA) such as donating toys, making jackets/blankets, and recycling. Tutoring and enrichment camps are also conducted quarterly for the Future Ties non-profit organization. Center members are also actively engaged in writing Likhitha Japam Books. Upcoming opportunities for involvement include a Book Reading where SSE students will share their understanding, a Mental Well Being workshop, Sai Tutoring, Public Parades, and Community Adoption projects.
